Conure Mutations

New to Wirral Bird World - These amazing new colour's are not hybrids in any way shape or form. Mutations are NOT Hybrids.

Following the suit of some specialised breeders, we have now started to breed our very own colour mutation conures, providing some fantastic, spectacular colourings to the species.

From 2008/09 we will be breeding our own species of conures from 20 breeding pairs, all decending from the colour breeds below:

• Cinnamon split pineapple cocks, to pineapple hens
• Yellow sided split pineapple cocks, to yellow sided hens
• Yellow sided split pineapple cocks, to blue pineapple hens
• Yellow sided cocks, to yellow sided hens
• Yellow sided split pineapple cocks, to pineapple hens
• Yellow sided cocks to cinnamon hens
• Yellow sided split cinnamon cocks, to yellow sided hens

Breeding these pairings will give us a wide variety of colour mutations such as pineapple/cinnamon split pineapple, yellow sided, yellow sided split pineapple and blue, yellow sided split pineapple/cinnamon, yellowside/cinnamon and blues.
